About Us

The Connecticut Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (CT-NAELA) membership is comprised of attorneys in the private and public sectors who deal with legal issues affecting the elderly and disabled.
Some of the issues CT-NAELA members assist their clients with include, but are not limited to: estate planning; health and personal care planning; public benefit advice and asset protection planning; estate administration, conservatorship and other probate matters; trust planning; long-term care, skilled nursing facility and housing issues; special needs trust planning and administration; and litigation and administrative advocacy.
With approximately 5000 members, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) is the premier organization of elder law attorneys in our country, and the Connecticut Chapter at nearly 150 members is the premier organization of elder law attorneys in our State.
NAELA’s vision is to be the recognized leader inspiring and empowering attorneys to enhance the quality of life for the elderly.
